Basketball ? we all know that it is very popular now today. Even in the eastern part of the the world where NBA ( National Basketball Association) is being acknowledge by most of the people in the world not just in also in eastern part but all over the world.

 Now lets go back what is behind the story of the one of the most popular games in the world. 1891 were the basketball is born in Springfield, Massachusetts by James Naismith who was the instructor in physical education. James Naismith is born in 1861 in Ramsay township, Ontario, Canada. He graduated as a physician at McGill University in Montreal were he primarily interested in sports. The original rule of the basketball was 13 and in the first attempt of playing the ball that they using was a soccer ball. Then many years letter the basketball  was become quite quickly become very popular in 20th century in America and progressed all over the world today.

 Today in the Philippines the basketball has become a popular game in the country. Every Filipinos has there fashion on the game, even if you are small or big in basketball is you can play then does not the problem. The important is you can play and know how to score. In the Philippines they have PBA ( Phillipine Basketball Association) were 12 teams to compete the championship. Every Villages in the Philippines you found a different kind of court and style of the game. Most of the rural areas you found a open space land were it is not being cover or made off a wood. People there are playing no sleepers and you can believe on what you are seeing because they are much comfortable playing with no shoes. Even the board is made of wood not fiber glass or anything.

 You can see the influenced of the basketball in the Philippines can give some entertainment and inspiration to be happy in life. That's how the basketball being recognized in every Country in the World.
